An honest relationship
Something that no longer exists
You used to call it love

That relationship is

Trust me, I’ve checked the pulse
It’s gone…
Now you’re the one swearing

Three months at my throat
You could’ve been trying to save what little is left
Those three months, now a grave

Now all you see is shame
Shame towards a

A lifeless cold frame that you chose not to save

From Taylor Swifts “All Too Well (10 Minute Version)” He’s gonna say it’s love,” you never called it what it was
“’Til we were dead and gone and buried
Check the pulse and come back swearin’ it’s the same
After three months in the grave
And then you wondered where it went to as I reached for you
But all I felt was shame and you held my lifeless frame”
