Coachella 2023

To many, Coachella is the event of the season. This 2-day concert has everyone dying to get in, even though it’s held in the Colorado desert. Coachella is a 2-day music and art concert that has been going on every year since 1999. Every year, the music lineup and style are changed. This year’s style was more of a futuristic desert look featuring a lot of neutral browns, tans, and almost everyone in flowy/sheer covers.
This year’s music lineup consisted of Bad Bunny, BLACKPINK, Blondie, $uicidebo$, Ashnikko, YUNGBLUB, FKJ, and many other known underground artists. Most ordinary people don’t get to go, but all the pop culture stars tend to meet at this highly anticipated event. Some big-name celebrities, such as Kendall Jenner, sponsor parts of the event to try and get their products out into the world of marketing.
Even though some celebrities sponsor parts of the event, they still have to pay a large sum of money just to get in. General Admission passes start at $540, and go up to $1,080 for VIP passes. And that is just the ticket price. It’s not counting the housing, food, drinks, outfits, and anything else you choose to buy at the festival. Although no one wants to miss out on the exciting experience, tickets are extremely hard to get. Even most A-list celebrities have to buy in advance or pay extra to get the tickets that they want. If you do manage to get a ticket, make sure to go with someone you know. There is nothing worse than watching and partying without the people you are comfortable with.
Some people believe that Coachella is overrated, but others think it’s the party of the year. Either way, it’s an experience that many enjoy attending every year.
