Rewind Competing in IASB
March 6, 2020
The MHS Radio and Television (RTV) students are competing in the annual Indiana Association of School Broadcasters (IASB) contest on Monday, March 9th. The MHS Rewind class is one of fifty-two high schools and career centers competing in this competition; the purpose of the competition is to highlight excellence in student work.
The day starts out with a welcoming statement in Esch Hall at the University of Indianapolis. Then there will be two workshop sessions taught by professionals in the radio and TV careers the students may hope to have. From editing workshops to workshops focused on what it’s like to work in the field, there are many options to choose from.
The RTV2 students have been working hard on projects involving sound design, news, short films, and much more to enter in the eleven categories. They hope to bring home the title of Indiana TV School of the Year. Wish them luck!
